Winner of the Week – Blogging the Movie

Every week I will be choosing a winner from the world of Internet marketing. These winners are people with brilliant ideas or products that have big potential. Are you worthy of being mentioned as Winning the Web’s winner of the week?

This week’s winner is Prija Phaphouampheng of Blogging the Movie. His goal is to travel the world to meet prominent bloggers and to create the first ever professional blogging documentary. It’s a great idea that I think will generate a lot of interest at least in the Internet marketing circle. There are hundreds of bloggers making a good living off of advertising and affiliate income and I think a documentary will help to validate blogging as a profession and to break the stereotype of bloggers being deadbeat losers who can’t get a “real” job.

There are already a good number of well-known bloggers in the cast including John Chow and Darren Rowse. How would you like to see yours truly, Gyutae Park included in that list? I always wanted to be a movie superstar so maybe this is my chance to shine. Be sure to vote for Winning the Web in the Blogger Rookie of the Year.

Check out the Blogging the Movie trailer and let me know what you think. A true winner or a big flop waiting to happen?

Hey Prija,
I’m not sure I understand your question. Are you asking why I use the .php extension in my posts?

i love documentaries. startup.com and edreams are two of my favs. 24hours on craigslist is ok too. i saw the trailer for blogging the movie and honestly it’s not very good. doesn’t make me want to watch it. i think maybe he should hook up with some freelance filmmakers. i respect him for going with it and i think its an genius idea but the trailer needs work.

Really great idea, man. I also love documentaries, especially ones about subjects I know about and enjoy. Keep up the work.
