Actually, I have to admit that not all awards are useless, it’s just that, as a blogger, my readers are “voting” for me every time they visit my website and that’s all of the recognition I need

Eh, these blog awards are just lame excuses for popularity contests. They feed off the egoism of bloggers by creating artificial popularity contests.
