Your Last Chance at the Revolution Wordpress Theme

October 20, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park

A few weeks back, I completely redesigned Winning the Web using one of Brian Gardner’s magazine-style Revolution Wordpress themes. Not only does it look better than my old theme, but it utilizes a more effective homepage that gives new visitors a big picture view of the blog.

It turns out that Brian Gardner is taking Revolution open source – meaning that all of the current Revolution themes available will no longer be for sale. Ever. You have until the end of the month, October 31st, to snap one up before they’re forever discontinued.

If you were thinking about buying a Revolution theme for your Wordpress blog, now is the time. The fact that these themes will no longer be available makes them even more attractive because you’ll essentially have an exclusive design that only a select group of bloggers have. Plus, the magazine-style format is a must-have in my opinion.

Brian Gardner has a new direction for Revolution, which I’m sure will see success. However, your last chance at a great Wordpress theme ends soon. A lot of people have been inquiring about the Winning the Web theme so I thought I’d share the news. Don’t miss out.

Each of the Revolution themes cost $59.95 for a single-use package. If you invest in the all-inclusive developer package, you get access to all of the Revolution themes as well as any of the new projects Brian creates in his new direction. I highly recommend it.

Buy a Revolution Wordpress theme.

I think I will wait for the open source ones, and then modify mine slightly.

Yeah, I’m curious to see what Brian Gardner has planned for the open source themes. I like the Revolution theme I have now and probably won’t change it for a while though.

I like your site layout now.

Thanks skiper. If you like my site layout, you might want to jump on the Revolution theme offer before they’re pulled off the market.

I have been a big fan of the REV themes and Gardner for a while. These are def. worth picking up even if you’re interested in seeing what he does open source.

Gyutae Park on October 23rd, 2008

I agree with you on that. The Revolution themes will never be available again, so I recommend getting them before it’s too late. If you buy the developer package, you can get all of Brian’s new stuff as well so it’s a pretty sweet deal.

Thanks for the heads up, I just saw that. The new themes look amazing! I really like what Brian Gardner is doing with the Revolution themes. They take Wordpress to a whole new level.

I really liked the layout and the overall presentation. If this is going opensource, I may as well wait for it be. However, the urge to have it now is so tempting. :)
