Prize Pool Shoots Up to All Time High of $13,647- More Contest News

March 24, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park

The Craziest Internet Marketing Contest You’ve Ever Seen continues to increase in value. The prize pool is now at $13,647 with some nice additions including many web design services and advertising slots. If you needed some convincing to enter into this one, you have it right here. There are going to be over 100 winners so your chances of winning are pretty good.

Honestly, this contest has been overwhelming for me. There are inquiries for prizes and questions in emails coming left and right. I really didn’t expect nearly as much of the response I’ve gotten. I want to thank everyone for making this a huge success. It definitely would not have been possible without you guys. We’re making history here!

In other news, I’ve decided to move the contest back a couple of days – random draw now on April 2 instead of March 31. Since there are so many prizes and sponsors I thought the extra days would help sponsors to get more exposure, everyone to get more entries to win, and me to tackle the monumental task of counting all of these entries! I hope no one minds this change – it’s really for the better. 🙂

I’m trying to find some time to write some real articles on the blog other than the contest clues. Stay tuned.

lol Gyutae, after all this you will need to take a month off! But if some didn’t already consider you the “blog contest promotion king” I am sure now that title is set regardless if you want it or not lol ;).

Even though it’s not over yet, congrats on such a huge accomplishment!

I totally agree DotDriven, Gyutae has done a phenomenal job promoting his blog and his efforts look like they’ve paid themselves off already 😉

This is getting just silly! Just 1/3rd of these prizes would have been great… this is getting just astonishing.

Andrew Pavelski on March 26th, 2008

I know what you mean Tevin, what’s really cool is the fact that we’ll all have much higher chances to win some great prizes 😉

No problem on the extra days. We get to earn extra entries on those days, so it only helps us.

The pace at which this contest is moving is scaring me. It seems a little unreal!

The power of momentum. Because of the prize growth others want in for the exposure.

Awesome – a couple more days to earn additional entries! What’s the contest going to cap at? That should be a prize in itself… Price is Right style. What’s the final prize value, on April 2, the drawing date, without going over?

I’ll guess $16,450

Good idea Eric, I see that is now part of the contest.

$20K is totally possible. I just can’t believe how fast this contest is moving. It has to be breaking all kinds of records.

Awesome contest. I need to hire you to market my website Gyutae, lol. You’ve had a ton of great ideas since I first started reading your blog, after the John Chow contest.

Andrew Pavelski on March 26th, 2008

This contest has been amazing Gyutae. I definitely don’t mind you pushing the date back a couple of days… There will be more winners and I’ll have an increased chance to win something great 😉
