Whether you’re looking to promote your own blog or find blogs on various topics, this site is for you.” I’ve seen the Blog Catalog widget (similar to MyBlogLog) on many blogs and the company seems to be gaining a lot of traction.     I have been with them for a while and BC has treated me well. I don’t have their widget on but I have a button. Is that good enough for an extra entry?

    I installed BlogCatalog a long time ago. They provide a great service. MyBlogLog is my blog contact site of choice, but BlogCatalog is still a good one.

    Blog Catalog is fast becoming a major challenge to mybloglog, I think. I’ve been using it and, like others mentioned, I’ve also found it more effective, and a little less spammy feeling. Now if they get some great stats included, that would put them right over the top.

    hmmm, I notice you don’t seem to have the widget, or badge on your site though. tsk tsk ;)

    I met the BlogCatalog guys at Blog World Expo last year, and they were really excited about it. I’ll admit I haven’t *quite* figured it out yet, but when I started my new site, I added BlogCatalog’s widget the first day.
