Copycat John Cow Taking Over John Chow?

Nearly 2 years ago when John Chow catapulted his blog’s traffic and income to stratospheric levels, many copycat blogs were born in the make money online niche. Who wouldn’t want to make $40,000 a month from their blog, right? One of these copycats was the infamous JohnCow.com, an obvious parody of John Chow with a catchy tag line of “milking the Internet and making mooney online”. The difference between John Cow and the other copycats was that Cow ironically used his own unique style and employed some creative marketing techniques to gain notice from John Chow himself.

Scour.com – A Combined Search Engine That Pays You to Search

A few days ago, I predicted that Google would buy up Digg and incorporate voting into its search algorithm. That deal is dead for now, but I still think it’s a possibility in the future. However, regardless of who buys what, social media and user voting will become a major factor in the search industry – no doubt about it. It’s just a matter of how soon.
