In the time frame of the SEO Launch Contest (October 1 - November 2, 2008)…
- The contest post had 1,631 total page views, which only translates to about 49 per day. Not spectacular and I’ll explain why later in this post.

Why the Continuity Model Makes Sense For Your Internet Business
October 29, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park
What do I mean by continuity? A continuity program is anything that requires you to pay on a recurring basis to access a product. Magazine subscriptions, membership sites, pay-for-access tools, and product-of-the-month clubs are all examples of solid businesses that use the continuity model. If you think about it, a continuity program has huge potential; you’re continually paid even after creating a product and making a sale. There are opportunities to incorporate continuity into almost every business. It’s just a matter of realizing the potential, coming up with a new idea that will lure people in, and executing a proper strategy.

How to Use Magazines as a Market Research Tool For Your Sites
October 24, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park
How many magazine subscriptions do you currently own? 1? 2? More than 3? Chances are that in the past month, you’ve at least read a couple magazine articles about various topics you’re interested in such as the upcoming US election, football, or even celebrity news. Whatever the case may be, I think we can all agree that magazines are heavily integrated into mainstream media and supply a significant portion of the information we consume.

How to Measure the Value of a Blog Link
October 8, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park
Today I want to go over a few neat tricks related to link building through blogs. Blog links are some of the best links to attain for your site for a number of reasons: they provide quick bursts of traffic and exposure, they insert your site into the conversation with potential for buzz, they’re relatively easy to get, and they send SEO link value to your site.
Owning a blog myself, I know that I link out to other sites much more frequently than I would if I had a static content or e-commerce site. If you want to build links to your site (either organically or paid), blogs are great places to start.

5 Ways to Prepare for a Blogging Vacation - It’s Okay to Take a Break
October 4, 2008 - Written by Gyutae Park
Next week, from Monday to Friday, I’m taking my first real vacation in a while - a 5 day cruise to the beautiful Bahamas with my family. I’ve been working pretty hard this year so it’s a much needed break from Internet marketing and SEO. I don’t think the cruise ships have reasonable Internet access so it’ll be a great time to just play in the sun, eat good food, relax, and recharge my batteries. Enjoy the cold weather, everyone!
