flywheelMany people think starting a site, building traffic, and making money online is all about luck and overnight success. It’s just the way the media portrays the online industry, but what they fail to report is all of the blood, sweat, and tears necessary to create anything worth talking about. Building a site is all about hard work and effort. Of course it helps if luck is on your side, but in order to achieve your goals, all you really need is a solid idea, an action plan, and an iron will.

The big players in the industry make it look easy because to them it is. The hard work that they put in accumulates over time and momentum builds to the point that they have extreme leverage in anything they do online. In essence, building a website is like pushing a flywheel. Things may seem impossible in the beginning but it’s necessary to have a set focus and just keep pushing, even if immediate results can’t be seen. Over time, what you may have thought were insignificant actions will become powerful in aggregate. The flywheel will be spinning fast and all you will have to do is give it a little nudge to keep the momentum going.

Are you treating your site like a flywheel and working to build momentum? If you’re just starting out, don’t be discouraged. Every focused action you take is another push at the flywheel to make it spin faster. If you’re experienced in the industry, optimize your efforts to leverage your momentum.

In an upcoming article, I’ll lay out an action plan for you to follow and achieve results. All it takes is some time, patience, and hard work. Keep pushing that flywheel!

Indeed. Building a successful website does not happen overnight, not even in a week! It takes planning, focus and perseverance. Just keep pushing the wheel and you will eventually arrive at your designated goal. Provided you aimed at the right direction from the start. :D

    I agree with you..
The result not come on 2 or 3 days..
    ANd not 2-3 months….
Maybe some of us get the result and momentum after 2-3 years.. I think that’s me… Ain’t easy but must consistent and not give up…
