Yeah, Igor - you're just nailing it on the spot. Internet marketing does go far 'beyond just traffic generation and gets much deeper than opt in forms and blatant email ads'.

It goes much further and you need a lot of time to research and research and research. After that you still moderate and tweak and monitor everything about where you're standing within the niche.

At the end that what you should have been doing should have converted your traffic to better rates such as 100:5 which is a 5% response rate. That would be excellent - but it may take severe time consumption.

The thing with internet marketing is tis: you don't just do it because of the money because then there won't be quite the energy (passion?) that you will need to keep competing your way forward.

Good post but I have always felt recommending banner ads can be a bit misleading without letting clients know to make sure they are nofollowed.... Last thing you want is Google to think your buying the banners for strength of the website and not for relevant traffic. Cheers.

The Internet has brought many unique benefits to marketing, one of which being lower costs and greater capabilities for the distribution of information and media to a global audience.

Excellent internet marketing post! Those traffic generation methods are all effective. Utilizing these strategies in an effective way is something I do for small local business to promote their products or services too. I enjoyed reading your internet marketing article post. Thanks for sharing and more power!

Building a mailing list is not just a one off task, it is continuous. Setting up the system will only have to be done once, but growing that list and building a relationship with that list is an ongoing thing and where the money is so you will want to nurture it continually.

It is a great tactic as well. But being visible in the search engines is as important. You want people to associate your services with certain keywords. That's branding.

When you hear french fries you think McDonalds, when you hear OS you think Mac or Windows...

Any business, music or marketing, is same in the core. People want value. Something that will benefit their lives in one way or another.
