Good post but I have always felt recommending banner ads can be a bit misleading without letting clients know to make sure they are nofollowed…. Last thing you want is Google to think your buying the banners for strength of the website and not for relevant traffic. Cheers.

Building a mailing list is not just a one off task, it is continuous. Setting up the system will only have to be done once, but growing that list and building a relationship with that list is an ongoing thing and where the money is so you will want to nurture it continually.

It is a great tactic as well. But being visible in the search engines is as important. You want people to associate your services with certain keywords. That’s branding.

When you hear french fries you think McDonalds, when you hear OS you think Mac or Windows…

I do believe in SEO to generate traffic but it does seem hard to get much out of it. I mainly stick to making sure I’m writing good content and focusing on my readers and writing what they want to hear.
